Tutu AydınoğluSoloist Introduction - İngilizce
Pianist Tutu Aydınoğlu is an academician and pianist at Istanbul University State Conservatory who started playing the piano at the age of 6. At the peak of her strength, Aydınoğlu drew great admiration by performing the Turkish premiere of Respighi's "Concerto in Mixolydian Mode" at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Palace. The pianist, who stands out with her unique interpretations and instinct to discover the neglected and the new, reflects her interests as a pianist with her wide repertoire and career.
The project "Ottoman Traces in Western Music" curated by Ms. Aydınoğlu and organized at Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall attracted the attention of all kinds of people, including the press. In her project "One Nation, Two States", which she also curated as the artistic director, she performed the Piano Concerto on the Arabic Themes by Amirov-Nazirova at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall with her as the soloist accompanied by the Cemal Reşit Rey Symphony Orchestra. Aydınoglu, preferring to continue her work as a pianist as well as an academic, is promoting 'The Lost Piano of Sultan Abulhamit Khan' around the world. Azerbaijani pianist Aydınoğlu, who was a student of Professor O. Abaskuliyev, has worked with Professor Meral Yapalı and earned recognition by participating in masterclasses led by François Chaplin, Mstislav Rostropovic, and Andrey Diev. She was honored with reception concerts in Hamburg and Poland. In 2021, she performed the opening concert of the Chopin PianoFest in Kosovo. Her interest in Turkish classical music led Aydınoğlu to start performing long-forgotten works by Turkish composers. Her last great work in this field was Ekrem Zeki Ün's Piano Concerto, which the composer dedicated to his wife and which was performed only once by Verda Erman. And so, 50 years later, Aydınoğlu performed this concerto with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra in 2021. Aydınoğlu has been a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra and the Eskishehir Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Ms. Aydınoğlu has premiered two works by Azerbaijani composer Pike Axundova. The first of these works is "İstiklal Trio", which was composed for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The world premiere of this work was held in Turkey (İstanbul) on May 28, 2018, and the Baku premiere was held on September 24, 2018, both by Tutu Aydınoğlu himself as the pianist. In addition, the artist performed the world premiere of "Su Kasidesi Oratorio" inspired by the great Turkish poet Fuzuli in Istanbul on March 19, 2019, under the direction of Rengim Gökmen. Tutu Aydınoğlu, who makes her audience feel her perfectionism in both interpretation and performance, is among the pianists who will be remembered as "legends" of this century.
